Photos of beaches in Northumberland from Berwick to Seaton Sluice.

Northumberland has many fantastic beaches, some vast and windswept, others small and sheltered. This website features photos of all the beaches between Berwick at the north end of the county and Seaton Sluice at the south end.

Each beach has it's own page with one or more larger photos and some brief information about it. To visit the pages click on any image or it's text link below. The photos are in order from north to south (left to right on this page) for easier location on a map.

There are beaches at two main locations that we have still to add: Holy Island and Ross Black Sands. These will be added in the near future.

Beaches between Seaton Sluice and the River Tyne There are some superb beaches between Seaton Sluice and the River Tyne. This area used to be part of Northumberland but became part of Tyne & Wear when that county was created. Many people still think of the Northumberland Coast as stretching between the River Tweed and the River Tyne, so below are links to some of our other websites where we have photos of the beaches at Whitley Bay, Cullercoats and Tynemouth.
